Default Noble Canyon Sept 07

Hey guys,

It's almost that time of year again, when we can head down and do Noble Canyon in Pine Valley.

Trying to get a feel for when the most number of people are available.

I was thinking Saturday Sept 8, and Ben mentioned Sunday the 9th.

Is the weekend of the 15-16 better for everyone?

I'll get the ride posted up when we figure out a good date.

I'd vote for Sunday, and the 16th would be best for me.

It'd be best if only those who were interested in going voted so as not to skew the poll

Though I should've allowed multiple choice

We will be climbing.

36~ miles, 4500ft of climbing. Full Tour de Noble.

I haven't been To Noble Canyon in some time. I am 90% sure I'm in no matter the date.

Daily thought: some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs!

Count me in for any day, be my first time at The Noble! Hoping to have a new bike by then, as the Reign is Out of Action & I'd rather not be on a hardtail.

Been wanting to do this ride. I also work Sat and Sun, but I can always call off on Sat. Also, I have a Hurkey Creek campout on the weekend of the 8th and 9th, so the following Sat which is the 15th would be best for me.

I'll probably also be doing more Noble rides as the weather cools down. It's a great Oct/Nov ride. So, anyone that misses this time around, we'll switch the day around and do the other next time.

While I don't think I'd do it every weekend (Steve), it's fun to hit every month while you can!

Just curious, what sort of pace do you guys ride going up?

Although I'm not a complete couch potato (I run around 15 miles per week, and ride around 20 - 30), the climb up Noble/Indian kills me, and takes a lot longer than say.. an Aquaholic (if you know of this San Diego climbing machine EDIT: allison obviously know's him! Havn't seen him on this board though). I got the feeling at the El Moro Poker ride alot of the OC Types are serious climbers!

Anyways, let me know. I'd love to join you, but I don't want to be "that guy". Maybe I'll just shuttle it and meet you guys at Penny Pines
