If you're under 18 you are going to need a parent to sign the release/waiver form.

Not sure a random adult would want to be responsible if you ended up in the ER!

Wish I could make it, but I have to pick my daughter up from camp that Satuday, so I was hoping to get an EARLY morning ride in then (no lift, as I'd have to start around 7am). Anyone crazy enough to be up then???

It would appear there's a race this weekend. Will that affect us?? At the very least, won't it make the area pretty crowded with people and traffic?

The race is not that big, I don't think it will be a problem. Not sure what trails they will be using, we can just avoid them after the race starts, if necessary.

Do they even hit any of the trails around the lifts? Couldn't find any info on where they actually race

That's cool. Then one of your parents won't mind driving you up and signing the waiver for you!

Me neither. Some of the tamer trails we rode last weekend are sometimes used for XC (Fall Line, Pirates, Fern, National hike a bike). They will be marked so it shouldn't be an issue.

Just a word of warning......We had some friends try to get on the lift 3 weeks ago with DH bikes, full armor and full face helmets and they were turned away.

We wear: Brain buckets, elbow and knee/shin guards only. Some people get away with full face, but my suggestion is to come prepared.

As long as they refund my money I'll show 'em by climbing the fire road on my Demo 7
