Well i was riding with denmothers friend when i was there and i didnt see any jumps or drops. I only saw a 3 foot drop and it was really easy.

As far as the race sunday goes, they will race UP the woodchip section at the end of the fireroad, up the fireroad and then up Fall line, to the chair area and loop around so it might actually be a bit busy up there
I was hoping to ride up to the top Sunday, save some money and see how long it takes, so maybe I can mix it up with some racers...I should really be doing this race....

well some of those hidden DH trails they can be pretty technical and can send you to the ER, the fire roads are unlikely but still possible.

sounds like its going to be a fun ride up there wish i could go but its MY bday.

Think like a lift-riding freerider and you'll find what you are looking for.
