Ride like a Kid, eh (Maples springs - mid week early afternoon ride)

Ride bumped up a week - hope you can still join in

Round 2 of midweek playing hooky ride

posting ahead of time for "planning" purposes...

You're like school in the Summer, No Class!

Date: Wednesday, August 8th
Place: Maple Springs
Time: 3:00pm

Summers here and schools out. Time to act like a kid with no responsibility,so leave work early (call in sick, etc.) and get your "kid on" and hook up for a mid-week afternoon ride up Maple Springs .

Thinking meet at gate parking ~3pm and start rolling shortly thereafter. Simple ride up and back...moderate pace. Not sure we'll be able to parlay with BBQ like last ride but maybe a "plastic cup" or two in the parking lot post ride

Boats - if you're down for ride can you bring my cooler from beeks ride...thanks

Would like to do it, but have a ride at 7pm the same day. What time do you plan on being back from the top of 4 corners?

gene - haven't ridden maples in over a year and don't recall usual time but i'm no rabbit. While this ride is only out/back, i think I'm 3 - 3.5 hrs for maples -> motorway. i'm coming back from extended DL. best i can offer is i think i did your b-star/beeks ride this past weekend up/back in under 2hrs (obviously not including hang time for beers and clean-up) and think the climb up maples takes a bit longer but i'm certainly not keeping your pace think a few others are planning on joining as well and i believe we're mostly same speed.

no worries if u cannot make it we'll do it some other time (as long as your down for a bit of waiting on the climbs). once again great job organizing the ride this past weekend

nice ride with Danny, Adam and Johnny......no speed records, but nice ride.......except for that damn 3 mile pave road that SUCKS!!
