Looks like lots of rides, lots of people riding! Good to see.. Now... Im looking for DH type riding... or at least rides that wont be plain silly with a 10-23 rear casette and a 40 lb bike... I have no idea what rides I should be looking for in this forum... Any suggestions?
I live in Glendale / Passadena, so the closer to that area the better. Certainly dont mind driving far, but obviously, the closer the better. Thanks in advance people! ![]() |

I'll let you know when we hit the "Cizzle" and other places to take them. WELCOME to the JUNGLE!!
"Cizzle" = Del Cerro If you're free during the week it's usually a weekday around 5 is when I get to meet my partners in CRIME there...including Ride Hard. They have fun jumps. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Sharky; 07-29-2007 at 07:48 AM. |

Thanks guys Looks like a nice, friendly community! No sir... all ive done so far is a few unsuccesfull, grueling trail hunts. Tried to find the "Mount Tom" fireroad on friday... Hiked my bike up to the top of the road, in super hot weather.... which ended up with me at the enterance to the fire road, wondering where the hell it went. It looked like it was going to end up getting me lost in the hills above Glendale... So I turned around and rode back down Sunshine at high speed, trying to get the wind to cool me down. My brakes got REAL hot... It was a pretty big hike for about 3 mins of downhill street riding ![]() |

As long as the post Ho's stay here!! I second Frank...lots of DH'ers there and they post more DH rides but two distinctly different sites with great qualities to both. The other is strictly business and would like to see it kept that way. Can't pick a favorite child STR is the best too. Gotta love the characters here!! |
