What's the pace? Will you be doing a straight ride or shooting video/pics?

We setup and shot photos last weekend, so this time its helmet cam all the way. Less stops. We expect 6 riders, so there will be enough action to keep us going the entire downhill. If someone decides to 'Go Big' I will gladly point my helmet at them for a chance at youtube fame.

I expect a fairly quick downhill run, especially since its a re-do, we know exactly which route we are taking. Follow us!

Cool. Then I should be in.

Once we top the Claremont climb and we go through gate to head down Marshall, I generally don't stop until I get to the end. There's an extra credit turn I add so I can get more climbing in so I'm not sure if you folks wanna do that.

Superman did suggest this route last week, so I pulled some GPS info off motionbased.com... followed it perfectly, and had the best downhill yet.

One rider argued while we were at the top last week, that we should go left... but we soon found the ultimate singletrack by sticking to my GPS route.

There are two sections on our route last week, in which we joined the fire/service road for a brief moment, but quickly jumped back into the canyon's shaded singletrack. I believe this is mandatory, as some parts of the canyon are impassable.

I trust Superman, cause he lives at the foothills of this area, but so far his descriptions of the downhill are... well, just vague.

I would hate to pass up good info which may improve our downhill experience, but I also do not want to stop on the trail and argue every turn with three different people.

Lets admit there is more than one way down. Lets agree that more singletrack is the goal.

Please review my tracks and make adjustments before we go, by suggesting any turns I might have missed.

You guys really need to ride this during the week, I won't hardly even ride it on the weekends anymore due to the amount of traffic on the trail. I live real close, PM me if anyone can ride it mid week.

We rode last sunday afternoon, saw 4 joggers on Claremont, and 4 horses in Marshall... that was light traffic because it was too hot for anyone else.

I expect more traffic this SAT, especially in the prime morning hours. We will meet in the Parking lot at MILLS and BALDY at 9:00am, departing around 9:30am.
