Default Have truck, will shuttle..anyone for Sunday (7/22) morning..Aliso/Santiago?

Want to ride my new bike on some trails it was meant to be ridden on. Especially since I am going to Mammoth the following weekend. Wondering if anyone would want to shuttle this weekend with my roommate and I at Aliso or Santiago?

Big Bike?...forget Aliso, you need to hook up with project d and go to Mt. Wilson.

Link Here.

We're riding Mt. Wilson Saturday, you can break in your bike there if you'd like. A DH bike isn't necessary, but I might bring mine anyways. If not, send a PM to "DenMother". I think she's riding Santiago on Sunday.

Let's shuttle the shutes and test the F5 . We can do it tomorrow evening. (For testing) I hope my Bells palsy is better. Having that sucks bad.

Depends on how well you know the trail. I've done it in 1.5hrs, but it will likely take us 2+hrs to run from top to bottom.

I am going to try to make that, but I would also be down to run some quick shuttles on Sunday probably Santiago if anyone is interested...

Oh, the new bike is a Transition Gran Mal that I picked up used. White with a white 06 888 RC2X, DHX 5, hope brakes, Transition wheels. I already had a Gran Mal, but with a Swinger and an 05 888. The new one is a long version that fits me better, the other one is a regular (and it's now for sale....).

Yep I am also reading between the lines and trying to stear him away. Again go to Mt. Wilson and stay off the illegal trails in Laguna. The only trails you need that bike for is the off limits ones. We have problems here in Laguna please don't add to them.

You can get a miles of legal tech downhill on Wilson instead of a quick few minutes in Laguna.

Stair steps is fun on a big bike. I never shuttle it. Just push up from the bottom.

The problem is that riders like in these pic's are pretty much a daily occurrence, so what would you have the land managers do? Are they not supposed to patrol the fence lines in areas where users are constantly cutting fences and riding closed areas?

I would much rather be working on the trail projects, but people who cut the fence in 16 places put the positive stuff on the back burner for a while.

These riders are in the undisturbed burn area......no trail, just bare burn area that is trying to recover from the fire.

I know many of you see the land managers and land owners as an evil empire; but how about a little blame being pointed towards riders like these.

Pic's like these are a common occurrence, and we wonder why our sport has a bad reputation.

It's not just bikers doing this, but we are definitely the largest group doing this in the burn area right now.

Don't know where you heard that, not sure where we're riding this weekend. My trail bike is in the shop getting TLC and Rog is building a new Socom which might not be ready. Would love to join you at Mt. Wilson but my husband hates all the hiking.

i see what you mean and where you come from. i was just trying to warn potential riders that there are people watching and this type of activity should not even be considered, let alone advertised.

now, who can ID those two goons
