Default Mt. Wilson Saturday 07/21 @ 7am...ish

We'll meet up one block north of the 210 and Santa Anita, shuttle up to the top of Mt. Wilson, then decend Sturdevant trail (and a few others that it connects with) all the way back to the bottom. Not a beginner trail; many rocks and exposed ledges, but there's also fun, fast, flowy singletrack.

Total mileage is about 11 or so, mostly downhill. No, you don't need a downhill bike, but you could bring one if you wanted. We need one person who would be able to retrieve my truck, maybe more if we have a lot of people coming. Bring your bells if you've got 'em!

It takes about 45min to drive to the top, and about 2hrs to get back to the bottom. We will need at least one person to drive back up to the top to retrieve...Nam?

I did this on my hardtail a few years ago. Full suspension not needed but recommended.

O.K. take the 210 freeway and exit Santa Anita. Go north, past the gas station (ARCO???) and turn right and park on the corner of the first residential street. I'll be in a white Tacoma with a white Nomad. We'll meet up at 7am, leave at 7:20 or so. Who's gonna drive back up and retrieve?

I can retrieve, my rack holds 3, it can hold 4 bikes, but I have to get the other attachment from my friend.

I'm bringing 2 more guys. So if i get the other attachment, we can fit 5 bikes one in the back.

My friend said he can bring his car too. I think his roof rack can hold 3 bikes.

Let me know how many cars we need. I'll be in the dark gray 4runner.

You, Nam (tkblazer), me, and two of your friends makes 5. I can take 5 bikes and 5 people in my truck, so we'll just need you, or somebody else to retrieve. If a couple more people show up, then maybe you could drive up as well, then somebody else who can hold 3 bikes (theirs, yours, & mine) can retrieve. Sounds like we'll be in good shape.

Come on guero, make it a yes!!!

Looks like I'm in if you don't mind an old grandpa tagging along! I can carry 3 bikes or more if I bring my rack.
