8 spots, I just signed up too plus 1. Should be interesting being that I've never been in Bommer Canyon either. See you there.

I hope it's not going to be too hot . The ride that's posted is for 15+ miles and the time allotted is 3+ hours. So I don't know if it's because of lots of regroups or just to site see. Seems like a long time to ride for such a short distance.

Bommer is a fun ride, I've done it a few times. All who go will enjoy it. There is a great singletrack called Rabbit Run that will challenge you with a fun rock garden. It has a four foot drop/roll that will keep you on your toes. We will be going through Quail Hill to access it. It's nice going on rides that have limited impact so the terrain is not all torn up, unfortunately because of the lack of rain this is not the case. The terrain is fine, but we just need the rain!

We will probably drop into El Morro from the Ridge Park entrance and do Rattlesnake and maybe go up I Think I Can, but that will be up to the Docents.

See you on the trail tomorrow.

The time factor depends on the group of riders. When I did the three park ride with Adam last month, we had a great time... the slower riders were left by the side of the trail with their little feet sticking up in the air...gasping for breath... errr JK! Actually, Gene, we waited for everybody to catch up but did the 40+ mile ride at a fairly good pace. There are some very nice sections.. although everywhere is getting pretty dry and dusty.

Enjoy! I'll be up in the cool mountains on the SART...
