Default Dino Brown ride (San Gabs)

Anybody up for a Strawberry ride? June 3oth 8am
at Clear Creek or meet at the bottom and shuttle up at 7:30.
This is a fairly easy ride, but has some exposure, that has a high pucker factor. Pace will be detiremened by who shows up. This won't be a hammerfest, just a fun day doing an old favorite.

We start riding near Clear Creek Fire Station, where Angeles Crest and Angeles Forest Highways come together.

Map and trail profile.

Mr. Freak---- Any idea if the EpicRider's or PMBC have any "unscheduled" (i.e. non-calendar) rides for that weekend? If anyone would know, it would be you!

A fewer of the slower guys may join this ride, so it won't be a fast one, but we should finish before 1 pm. I miss the place.

Mr. Freak- What would you say the total distance of our Loop would be... 15 miles?

Will you be riding Thursday? If not, I will PM you concerning the ride. Graaaaacias!

I posted a ride profile above. If you look on the bottom you will see my GPS totals 15.44 miles and 3544ft. The elevation gain seem high to me and I don't believe it. It seem more like a 2500 ft gain. Although climbing Josephine Fireroad is a 1350ft 3mile climb.

Yeah, I saw it! Thank you for attaching the image to your post. You are a gentleman and a scholar!

The truth is, I was simply "making sure" Mr. Freak did not have any surprises awaiting us- (i.e. starting from JPL).

The surprize would be riding it in reverse so we could come down Colby Canyon.

Is this ride on Sat for sure? I was hoping for Sunday, but if not, I'll try to make it.
