El Moro Ride 6/23 8 am

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Are you tired of riding Pain Divide yet? I am! I want to ride someplace where cool ocean breezes soothes my sweaty brow… where my head won’t be cooked off at 11 am … where I can just enjoy the ride and the view. [/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Me and a couple of my buds are riding El Moro on Sat 6/23 at 8 am. The weather promises to be perfecto … unlike the Holy Jim (think steam bath) Trail. The route planned is to meet at Ridge Park and go down the north ridge to Mach One, then down & up I think I Can.. along the south ridge to BVD, down to Old Emerald down on the best single track in the park to the tennis courts & back up … then over to T&A, down and over and back up Willow. Ride should be 2 ½ to 3 hrs. Not planning on hammering. I’m even leaving the SS at home and riding the 5.5 Intense for pure pleasure. Let me know if interested in joining our group. [/SIZE][/FONT]

Sounds like a cool ride! I would go, but I'll be riding up The San Juan Trail this Saturday morning. Maybe the following Saturday we should organize a ride through Shady Canyon, Live Oak or Laguna Canyon to El Moro.

I wish I can join you guys, but I don't get off work till 7:30am on Sat that's why I'm doing the Whiting ride. They'll be starting aound 9:30 or so. Have fun Gregg

Normally have a Toyota Sienna van with a Warrior's sticker on back... but will probably be in a white Toyota Corolla (rental).

I'll have a really colorful jersey on tomorrow (Red/Grenn/Yellow/Blue from South Africa) friend of mine just brought it back. I'll be on my squishy red 5.5 Intense tomorrow.
