Is anyone thinking about going up to the MTBR Tahoe Gathering this summer? It looks like it is July 20-23. That's a Friday through Monday.

I want to go ride tahoe! I know someone who is probably going to be doing the xterra championships, she did them last year and i think didn't so too well. She was like top 3 overall for females in every race I did with her.

they are having the inaugural xterra tahoe city up there this weekend. unfortunately i will not be able to make any of the mtbr stuff though....driving time kinda gets in the way.

I plan on going again this year, but I'll be riding my bike across Iowa on those dates. I plan on following Dean up there in August.

I will be up there in Tahoe with Jeff for the weekend. This will be first time riding in Tahoe. Are there any STR guys thinking of doing this trip????

Man, if you get a chance to do "Hole In The Ground" do it. That ride brings a smile to my mug, everytime I remember it. I loved riding everything up there, but the trails around Tahoe are of the xc type with not a whole lot of tech stuff, but very fun riding and the beauty of the place is like no other.

Uh-oh - that just happens to be the time that my wife and I were debating our vacation plans, and considering Tahoe. (see previous thread here if you have ideas) I might have to lobby even harder for that destination now.
