Default Newbie ride at Fully Loop Sat 6-16-07 9:00 am

Meet at the Court House parking lot.

Mello ride, no drop rule, regroup often.

This is going to be the 1st loop ride for several of us lets keep it easy paced. If you want to hammer this is not the ride for you.

Looking foward to meeting a few new people to ride with.

We need a guide who's up for draggin some Newbies around?

Does anyone have a small MTB that my g/f could use for the ride? She's 5'5"-5'6", so I'm thinking about a 16"/Small frame? Let me know! Thanks!

As for guiding...I don't know the Loop well enough, but feel free to ask basic skills questions! I used to be an MTB instructor for a camp up in Big Bear.

This is going to be a slow ride, "Newbee" for me is "Newbee" on the dirt as well as "Newbee" at the loop.
See ya there.

Hey, how long is this ride? I have to be at a thing at around 3. We'll be done before that, right?

Also, should I take the kickstand off my bike before this ride?

We WILL be done before 3. This should take us about 2 hrs. It can be done by some in under 1 hr (not by me) but with all the regroups and mellow riding 2hrs should do it.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there and probably Jason too. We're not really newbies, but it'll be fun anyway and we can help out with directions and Jason is a good mechanic just in case we need some trailside maintenance.

If you're taking your time (and also doing the 11.5 mile version), it shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours. The first couple times it took me about 1 h 50 min, but yesterday I was haulin' and I did it in 1 h 15 min. Well, hauling for me at least.

It's looking like my SART ride is a sure thing that day.

Hope we can get another one going soon. Maybe I'll rock the SS as well.

Patrick,

This is a special newbie ride. The regular Fully Loop Social & Tea Party still heads out on Thursday's @ 6:45 to 7PM.

Here's a link to the regular ride.
Fully Loop Social and Tea Party

Don't fret - come to both!
