Depending of the level of experience and fitness of the newbies(this is a newbie-no drop ride) the ride should be about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours.

I think that depends on how much experience you had b4 you were off the bike.

Default Come on Out

For several of the group this will be the 1st time riding the loop, I have only done it one other time and I was slow (Damm slowww)....
There are a few faster person's signed up, but we do have a no drop rule...

This ride like many others that I will be posting this summer is for the "Newbie" meaning slow to moderate paced, varing in terrian. These rides will be a place for the slower and new to riding folk to put some miles under our wheels and not keep the fast guys waiting....

With the goal to be building a skillset that will allow us to ride more techincal terrian without hating it...

Personally I can't wait to ride some "big rides" with the hubby, eventually

Come on out It looks like we're going to have a big group

Thanks Neil for letting the cat out of the bag!

Yes that's right i'm "bringing it" - my walking shoes that is - since i'l be doing plenty of that. Or at least walking would be faster than my climbing..

I'm still nursing a sore wrist & hand from a fall last week, but if it heals up enough (kinda doubtful) then I'll go. I am a noob on the Loop, and generally pretty much a dork, so I'll fit right in.

L8, if I go and if you're still in need of a bike, I could bring the wife's Kona Kula. She's about 5'6" and it works for her: I forget the frame size, but if anything it might be a little on the small side. It's a h/t, but has a suspension seatpost and a semi-squishy saddle.

Awesome...if you end up going, and if it's not too much trouble, bring it along!

Since you aren't sure though, I'll still have Traci bring the Surly since she will be there for sure. Thanks!
