When are we going to do a backwards night at the loop?
DH bikes going backwards on the loop with full xc tights.
No lights, only sun glasses. Beer not water. Front brakes only. Or maybe costume day where we all dress in crazy costumes. What do ya think. Yeah it will never happen.

Hey Jason, good riding with you. How's your sister-in-law's(?) arm, She's a trooper. I hoped my little tip on "grannying" helped a little.

Default That lil trooper

She loved it she is doing great. I need to get her a bike so she can come out and ride more. She never hit the brakes on the down hill parts . Not bad for her first mtn bike ride.

I can't believe it myself!!! Rumor has it, the women of Fullerton got early word LBmtb would not be "in the house"-- let's just say they were very disappointed "cute little George" wasn't there!!!

The reusable zip tie (ie. man bracelet) is actually considered a STR welcoming present. Any new rider (to the Fullerton Loop) who zip ties a "SUREFIRE" flashlight to his helmet receives one compliments of STR.

In the words of LBmtb.... stay thirsty my friend!!!

Thanks to Gabe for talking cars with me, looks like youre as big a gearhead as I am.
Thanks to Ryan for the bike frame. My daughter will love it.
Thanks to OTHRider for hanging out pre-ride and helping me look for "A guy on a red cannondale wearing a grey jersey"
Thanks to Dino and Integradriv3r for the post-Roscoe conversation.
Thanks to Cat for the hug

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

As usual, awesome ride!

Jason and Ryan, thanks for coming out to join us. I think Ryan wins the long-distance award for coming out from Yucaipa.

Thanks SAR_boats! Glad you could still join us for the post ride ceremonies.

Ya, she did real well. She does need a bike and new helmet. I may have another build done soon, stay tuned.

no joke, the ranger barely made it back on that tank, then again with 4:56 and a tired 4 cyl, it gets crap mileage when its pounded to the floor. haha. nice meeting you guys and seeing dean, lee, jason (mostly his head), and franky! its different riding XC with the fellas i ride DH with, i like it... im gonna look for a light this weekend for next week, although lee's lines were radical w/o them. thanks cc, the prelap was great minus the chain snap, oh well. i had everything Dino Brown told me to have, forgot the chain!!! ill probably be there next week, good times.

Did you guys make it to Laguna Lake? The park ranger was getting ready to close the gate and I told him that 4 more were coming behind me, I was in the mtbr.com jersey on a Tomac-sweeping.
