I'm with you on this one.

By the way, if anyone needs a light, Banning Bikes on Harbor (less than a mile from the courthouse lot) has demo lights for free. It's a 24 hour loaner period, so you can pick it up before the loop and return it the next day. They are closed this Thursday for Interbike, but other weeks this is a good option.

Looks like the Rut posse is going to try to get two laps in. We will be starting around 5:20-5:30. Let me know if we have any takers.

Are you planning to make it back by 6:15p, Andy? No way can I turn a 45 min. lap. If your pace will be just a tad more sane, I'll definitely join you for your first lap and maybe both.

I'll be there around 4ish again for my pre-lap. If I can make it back by 5ish, I may join you guys.

running behind schedule, will make the 5ish lap instead of 4ish lap.

Default Last nights snafu

Okay, last night got a little messed up. We did the early loop, thought we missed the start of the 2nd loop, so kept going, while CC and Gene went back to get CC's lights. They said go on, we'll catch up. So Tim scurried down the trail playing catch up and we followed (slowly) behind. We took a shortcut thinking we would catch everybody and there was not a soul in sight. We finally caught up to Tim and he had the same report. We waited for a while and still no one. Went back to the parking lot, waited until 8:10pm, started to get worried, then checked my phone and saw a message from CC that ya'll were still in the pl at 6:44pm. I guess next time we'll come back to the pl!!!! We were trying to wait to hook up for dinner but by 8:15pm we were knawing at our arms and legs. Went to Sizzler, and saw a few of you go by.

Until next week......

P.S. Gavin is a handsome boy, Dell, you should be very proud. Congratulations!!!

Hey Jeff...it's a loaner bike from Incycle. I blew out my rear shock and they gave me a bike to ride until it returns from the rebuild.

I was hoping to lure you and others out to come c what I was riding but you didn't bite. jk

It is an Enduro. That animal rides pretty darn nicely I might add. Nice a smooth on the dh and I was climbing almost everything in the middle chain ring. Pretty good for a bike with dual crown fork. It's a medium so if anyone wants to ride it, they are more than welcome to. Just come up to me with you CC and ID, and of course your kickstand for the deposit.

CC and I got back to the parking lot to see everyone still there. (Rut & possie, Dino, Mike, Nam). We mounted our lights and got rollin. CC and I hung back with Barry(mcgyver0302) and kids. When we got to the Grissom Park, the group was waiting. Pretty much made the regroups short and the pace a little quicker. Dino, Barry, Nam and kids took the short cut and we hooked up with them later.

We all had to go around the lake cause the gate was closed. When we got to the tracks, Mike, myself and 3 others went while the others cut the course and went straight as we did on the first lap. We need 2 way radios!

It was brought up that we should start the main loop to the 6:30/6:45 start cause it doesn't matter now what time we start, it's going to get dark anyway. Pipe in and lets see what you all think. This way, the early lap can finish by then and still roll out with the main loop. Lights are a must! Unless you're Rut. (he even had a mini-mag light)

Roscoes was fun! The band was very entertaining. Most of us stayed for 2 sets. Dino, CC and I left after Midnight.
