A really good and long ride I do (not sure of milage) is this:
I start in Oceanside and ride the San Luis Rey river trail to the coast. I head down the coast into Del Mar. From there I take Via de la Valle past Lake Hodges into Escondido. Once in Escondido, I make my way to Mission rd. and head west. Mission will turn into S. Santa Fe which turns into N. Santa Fe . That puts me back into O'side. Like I said, I'm not sure of the milage but it's a good all day ride for me and I use a 'cross bike. Hope this helps. You can also check out Nytro in Encinitas on PCH. It's a uber-roadie shop with tons of good info. Ben PS- you should ride SART with us on Sat. instead! |
