Nice!! Just over 3.5 work days left. I can't WAIT! I need bike photos at Thunder Mountain

I'll be on my "big bike" next weekend, though!

Unhappy I'm soooo jealous guys!

I love Utah riding... can't wait to go back... unfortunately looks like that won't be until late Oct.

No need to tell you to have fun & expect the usual good pics from the trip.

nice photo dean. not sure others may agree but dirt color and "terrain" reminds me a bit of "entrance" to motorway just after you pass fence on main divide.

He said there are patches of snow. He seems to think that we'll probably have to cross a bit of snow, but that it'll be fine.

However, I don't think anyone's been up for trail maintenance, so I'm guessing we will probably hit some downed trees and have NO idea how the snow drifts will be. The drop off point is quite a bit higher than the actual ski lifts/resort.

It'll be dangerous if there's a lot of sugar in Patron - 30mins of total insanity followed by 6hours of being a zombie!
A friend at work said I should have my own comic strip - 'Hypo-Man'......whenever there's danger I chug back something sugary but then I only have 30mins to save the world before crashing!
Good job the bike will be on hand to ride it off!

Default Always check the trail conditions in Brian Head.

It turns out the snow level had been large, and toppled many trees across the trail. This is on Bunker Creek, about 1.5 miles down from the top. We told ourselves it couldn't last long; it was exactly like this for 4.2 miles. We couldn't go back as we'd been shuttled by family, and they'd split. If you look carefully you can see the trail curving to the left under the arching tree.

Call and check with the locals first!
