Just thought it would be worth posting even though most everyone knows abot this ride. Who is coming out? Can we make it bigger than last week? Anyone else going to take their cyclocross bike this time? Is Rob actually going to make it? Is Jose going to crash again? Will Neil really ride his cruiser? The suspense is eating away at me...

Visited with Grandma and ran the Loop tonight.

.......after the lake, on the trail, through the 1st gate, on up high on the right for the single track at the fence line - posted "CLOSED". Someone is building a new fence just before the 2-month old block wall. They were nice enough to pile the dirt on the trail........

Detour down the slope was a little slippery.

Dino said he'd huck the sign for us on Thursday night

I vote for either Heroes or the ship. Problem with Heroes is that we always have to wait for ages to get seated/served.

I sent this to my friend who works in the Fullerton Bldg Dept and asked her to have the problem fixed...she has come thru in the past....the building inspectors will tell the home owner to move the dirt and allow us to ride thru if they want another inspection

I recon thats a good idea. We can see who wants to do a fast blast in the car park. maybe we take a 'Heroes head count' and nominate somone to ride ahead each time we plan on hitting there.....altho now its warm enough to sit out the back at Heroes maybe it wont take so long to be seated??

Not to be a ninnie but what is wrong with the beer garden? Not open late enough? No quality food? Just curious.

When you guys drink/eat after the loop, do you have good visibility of your cars??? I have a roof rack and even though its lockable, I have had someone try and jimmy a lock on one of my trays and plus I heard a story of someone getting bikes stolen off of a locked roof rack....

Nope, bikes are not in view. If you can park near Roscoes or Hero's, you've got people sitting around eating nearby. If you can't, you're not going to see your car and sometimes the cars are parked on a dark street or parking lot. I bring lot's of cable locks for the frame and wheels. So far, so good :::knock on wood:::

Ran into this sign tonight. Grrr! Had to go down the side but not bad at all. What the heck are these people doing? Sign is home made. I was tempted to go on thru but thought better.
