Ship last week was great...until the end. Man, that was a long wait for the check. More than willing to give it another shot, though.

I also like the "put in the name" idea at Heroes--maybe have Mario swing by between laps?

If that's a bust, Roscoe's patio is right there.

And what's this beer garden Andy mentioned? That sounds pretty good, too.

Aw hell, just point me toward a cold draft already.

Default Down with the sign

I sincerely believe that the "closed" sign will not survive the thursday ride if it is still there.

Hmmm...I should have just gone thru. I was so tempted now that I know its ok I'll have to plow thru.

Beer Garden is fun and there is also lots of food at the farmer's market itself. Food on a stick! It closes at 8:30.

I'm still waiting for my replacement helmet mount for my L&M ARC. Will we be done before sunset?

I'm riding at about 5.15 with Sauce and a friend from work. I think Anne is riding with a friend of hers at about the same time.
The main ride is at 6.45 as usual as far as I know.

We wont be done before sunset .
We used to start at 6.15 negating the use for lights now that its summer but the start time seems to have slid to 6.45

Hmm. The mount should have gone out on Monday, and I think it's coming from Monterey. It should be here today. If UPS, it won't be here until 5-ish, perhaps giving me enough time to make it in. If USPS, again, I might have enough time. We'll see how it goes.

I could always use my bar mount. It's not like it's riding Holy Jim at night, where the helmet mount is good for looking around corners.

In my experience, bar mounted lights work better for this ride. When doing group rides, a fair amount of dust kicks up, and when you're wearing the light on your head, the dust lit up by the light can make the trail difficult to see. Either is fine, though, but I always chose to use a bar-mounted light for Fully Loop rides. HJ is a different story.

Only because of the magical wheel diamter. 26'ers MUST USE LIGHTS, or they will DIE.

A morning of tiredness is nothign compared to the memory of a night at Heroes with a biking legend such as myself.....oh and the birthday gang too!
