I'm down for whatever, but I'm always a bit leary to add on more miles to a ride where a lot of us still have a long drive home after. I'm down for the pain and suffering, just leary about getting home at 9 PM.

But, like I said, I'm down for whatever, so decide amongst yourselves and I'll still be there

Additionally, my SS project is progressing along nicely. I might have it done by the time this ride rolls around, not that I'll ride it, but it still might be done.

As the date gets closer, I'll nail the route down. For now, the date and time is set in stone. Camping, on the other hand, is still up in the air.

I'm thinking I might be able to go, but I might park my truck at the lot at Angelus Oaks and bail out at Middle Control Road.

Hey guys, how 'bout this option:Santa Ana River Trail
It starts and ends at the post office on Hwy 38, and basically turns the ride into an out and back. We can get in at least 30mi. this way and not have to worry about getting "return" cars.

I would imagine it would certainly make for a shorter day. There's plenty of parking at the spot just past the PO at Middle Control Road.

Default Trail route

Ben the second suggestion is the best for non shuttling. If you want to shuttle from the Ranger station I suggest shuttling up the jenks lake road to poop out hill. Take lost creek trail to southfork ( very sweet) and alllllllllll the way down to the ranger station. This is a bigggg badddd ride. 30 + miles. My 69 er is ready babbbby.

OK, so I think it's set. Park on the dirt lot by the PO and go from there. Lot's of miles, lot of fun, and minimal driving afterwards.

Cool, thanks.

I'm pretty sure I'm bringing out the Dos, instead of the 1x9.

Ann/Andy - would be cool to ride with you guys again! Hope you can make it. How bad is jet lag from Hawaii anyway??! Geez... jk

Fun day and no blood left on the trail. The Poopout Hill route is a great route.. especially along the river.

Default route

If we are going to do the p/o loop I suggest parking half way down the fire road as the fireroad climb at the end is really tough after 28 miles. This will allow us to finish right at the car.

What is the meet time?
