That was a great night out - oh and the ride wasnt bad either! Felt kind of tired until we got to the Ship, luckily the 'Interstellar' brought me back to life, great food, great beer, mad mad waitress, good people, good times. Back next week on the SS :-)

'Soul Rider' is but an urban myth, he's jsut a shadow on the fully loop. His identity may never be revealed, he stands for truth and justice and fights for all his 'brothers'. We'll miss you Soul Rider!

good times last night, it was a lot of fun riding with such a huge group! i dont think too many people saw me tip over at the grassy area when we were regrouping, lol. nam, thanks for letting me borrow your light, and dave, thanks for getting my thru-axle off, that thing was/is way beyond help now. the loop claimed my rebound knob, but that is all.

Nam, You need to go tubeless asap!
Trailmaster Lee led us over that cement ditch near the end and I am pretty sure I would have flatted if not for the ole 25psi tubeless! Thanks all for coming again, the head count was 23 Good to see Brett again, Nam's buddies are always fun, Deano and Diamond Dave duking it out to the top of the hills to see who got a to give a little "shock"...then the battery died ...that was lame, Nam with another flat , riders falling alll over the place, even the mighty Jose sampled some grass near the end I am sure there was "reason" why and Lee on a squish...man he was sharing the love of that set up even though his wheelie up the climb was extremely impressive!!Mike, we missed you! Here are some pix from last nite: group meeting ![]() group meeting ![]() after the first little hill ![]() Andy showing his cx skills over the manhole cover! ![]() Brett leading the way ![]() ![]() Singletrack section ![]() ![]() Nam coming thru ![]() Yes, its a flat and its Nam! ![]() Diamond Dave crossing the loop ![]()

I was having an off day. My knee hurt, which is why I didn't ride the singlespeed, and I had a headache. Even beyond that whiney excuse, I sucked! Those squishy bikes with those big knobby tires really require a lot of work! My SS is so much faster and easier to ride on the Loop. But even though the bike kicked my ass, I still had a great time. Those who are missing these group rides are really missing out.
![]() Maybe next time, I'll bring my 9-speed DJ bike...it's an even better wheelie machine!....from what I remember; it's been a while since I've ridden it. Nam...heard of Stan's? |
