MRA is now aware the road has been reopened. I called and talked to them and they said they'd not heard anything different. I hung up called the ranger station again and then called MRA back and gave her the phone number. I called back again at 2:30 pm and she apologized and said they were open and yes they were going to be doing shuttles. If you are going to reserve a shuttle with MRA you need to do it now as they'll be booked solid pretty soon. Our group will be up top at Shermans Peak around 9am.

Hello All,
I have one more person that's trying to get a shuttle reservation who is telling me that the shuttle is full. If anybody from here made a reservation and is not going, please call Mountain Rivers back (760-376-6553) and take your name off the list. Also, if you made a reservation but did not pay yet, call them and give them your credit card. If you don't, you may get bumped off the list. |

DOnt worry guys, If you wanna ride, just go and they will figure out a way to get you up there. Last time we had a few sat on the floor even though they pay for seats. All that matter is to get to the top of Sherman Pass. Although it be nice to sit on the bench and take a 1 hour nap b4 the ride. I think Mike squeeze me in next to him.

![]() I think camping spots/places to crash won't be a problem. MRA will let a full van-load of riders sit on the floor w/o seatbelt? I remember 4 or 5 years ago they wouldn’t let us in one of their shuttle's w/o seatbelt... Were leaving SFV about 2:00, so should be at campground around 5/5:30. Were at the campsite next to PainFreak; red 4-Runner w/2 old-fat dudes... |

My friend Alan and I are carpooling up after work. We probably will be there around 9PM and going straight to bed. But in the morning, we're all going to get breakfast near the MRA campground. We'll all be meeting up at 6:15AM to do the breakfast thing. And of course, Saturday, after the ride, the beer will be flowing down our bellies! I won't be checking back on the site or my email for the rest of the weekeend. If you need to reach me for any reason, call me: 714-280-6253 We're in spots 24 & 25 - Mark, 3F |

No, we don't have a meeting time or place worked out yet for Sunday. The group has gotten big enough that it is more difficult to get organized. It sounds like there are several different rides going. I would suggest that you meet Mike at his campsite in the morning and he can let you know what is going on.
