Mt Bike Bill's site lists the climbing at almost a 6,000' verticle gain over 28 miles. Is that accurate??

The highest point is ~6000' (6,435' according to mtbill), not the actual climbing. Total climbing for the out-and-back route is ~3000'.

Ahh...I see what you mean. I just noticed that mtbill mentions something about a "side-hill effect" GPS and TOPOS, which might explain the 6000' in climbing.

Using the Geoladders information the total elevation change is ~3096 ft in 25 mi.

I set up a RSVP for this ride. Sign up, and any ideas on alt routes are welcome.
