Default Morning ANF Front Range Ride - 5/5

Anyone up for a ride Saturday morning? I don't have a ton of time so I need to start early and stay close to Pasadena. I need to be home around 12:30.

Ideas:
- Chantry Loop over Mt. Zion
- JPL, LSM, Sunset Ridge, El P
- LSM, MSM, Sunset Ridge

Start time 7:00AM

Honestly at this point I'm leaning towards Chantry, but will go with the majority as all are good rides.

Okay here's the plan. Chantry at 7:00 AM. Upper Winter Creek, Mt. Zion, and out. I'll be parked in the upper parking lot with a black Yeti with bells on.

I rode Lower Merrill to Sunset last night and the PO is everywhere. I'm sure to break out any day now.

I did not think there was much PO on Lower Merill, I know on Sunset it is thick. I normal skip Sunset and El Preito this time of the year. I tought the Merrills were fairly PO free.

Dean, Sorry for the confusion. PO is only on Sunset Ridge.

Yeah El Prieto was filled with PO and Im starting to show signs from last sundays ride. I even scrubbed with Zanfel when I got home but if I didnt I guess it would of been worse.

I did Sunset RIdge the weekend before and like Brian says PO was everywhere too.

Brian, Good seeing you & John at the pancake breakfast.

Hanzo, Yeah it was good to see you again. Glad you are in riding condition again!

I am showing the first signs of a breakout resulting from my ride on Wednesday. That was fast. I have been taking Claritin every morning to try and minimize the breakout.

We washed up at the bottom of Sunset Ridge with citrus cleaner and water. The citrus clean in theory breaks down the PO oils and then washed off with water.

6:20AM update: I'm going to go for a road ride around the Rose Bowl and tour the Pasadena hills since no one else is going. I've got tons of stuff to organize for my trip to China. A few extra hours today would be nice.
