Lightbulb Palm Canyon Epic 4-21 / SART 4-22

Any takers for doing the Palm Canyon ride on Saturday April 21? This is probably the last time of the season before it gets too hot.

Sunday, I was thinking about going big and tackling SART on April 22. Any takers?

Lets see what we can figure out...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Really really really tempting. I am doing the toyota desert trithlon on the 22nd down in la quinta which is just a little further down, but i dont think i should be doing a big ride like that especially with a possibility for injury and i already shelled out money for the tri so i will have to pass

Usually we meet at the IMAX theatre at 8am. How does that sound? I have done this a few times also, so I know which routes to take...

Default I'm in

I'm in, I was going to post the same ride for next weekend. Wife is out of town
Let now time & place. I might be able to borrow a truck for the shuttle, otherwise I'll be looking to take people back to the top in my SUV.

May will work too for this ride. I've even road it in June and the temps stayed in the mid 80's. Very good riding weather.

Awesome......So far the people in for sure are edog, Ben, myself, You, and Allison. There are a few maybe's too. I am thinking that we meet at the IMAX from 7:30-8:00 so that we can get a good early start. Earlier may be better....

Any ideas??

I should be able to make this. I need to rearrange some stuff at work though to make it happen.

I have a truck and a 4-bike Sportworks rack to shuttle up to the trailhead.

With the longer days I don't think we'll need to worry about running out of daylight. 8:00 am start is early enough IMO.

Finish with Cindy Whitehead?

Default Palm Canyon and SART

I am in for both. I will be driving my crew cab truck as well so we should have plenty of shuttle room. I am not familiar with Palm Springs. Is the meeting place at 68150 E Palm Canyon Dr? That is what showed up when I Googled Palm Springs IMAX. I will be there at 8 (hopefully a little before).
