SHARE Tuesday Night Rides

With the time change comes the season of the SHARE Tuesday Night Rides. This year the TNRs will stage at the Ridge Park gate every Tues. at 6pm.
You don't have to be member of SHARE to join them on these rides, just show up and ride.
Routes and distances depend on who shows up and how much light we will have. As the days get longer, so do the rides. All levels of riders are welcome.
NOTE: All SHARE rides will take place on legal, authorized, trails in El Moro and Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. If it's not on the park maps, we won't be riding it.
Bring a few bucks and meet us for post ride food and libation too.

so, i take it tomorrow night's ride isnt to be too long a ride? we'll only have about an hour and a half before sunset. oh well- they'll get longer!

Some show up early and do a quick loop before the others arrive. I have to go out of town for a couple days but I plan to be there around 5 on the days I can make it. A run down Ridge Crest to Ticketron to Deer Canyon then up to Red Tail and back to the Ridge Park gate is a great warm up.
Maybe Keith or I can talk to Adam (JamR) to see we can incorperate some Irvine Open Space trails in the future (docent led of course).
Plus, once the Stage Coach trail is officially open, that will make a great loop too.

It's the trail SHARE built from the old LCWP ranger station to the Nix Center.
I think they are calling it the Stage Coach trail or maybe just the Stage trail. I think they should call it the Sweet Singletrack after ranger Larry Sweet. We couldn't have built a trail if not for his cooperation.
The final part of the trail is building a bridge over the creek and that can't happen until this summer. We also have to find a way around that first rock section by the parking lot because they don't want people skidding on the rock and eroding it away. It is a nice feature so I tend to agree with that.
