Hmmm.....I forgot there was a race this weekend. I may meet up with you out there. I would also like to play on the 4X course on my hardtail.

Yup, I'll bring the hardtail that my gf was riding the last time, although I may install tires that are more appropriate for that course. And yes, also the UZZI VPX.

2wheel lee the 4x race starts at one. I think you should just race it. it's a short course.

I think with my current fitness level, anything past the first turn will kick my ass!

...but it has run across my mind. However, I need to be home in the OC by 3. Also, at 38 yo, I wouldn't have a chance with those young bucks! (in the over 18 beginner class)

How do they run it? Since there is a four-man gate, if there are 8 people total in a class (for example), do they run two qualifying motos, an LCQ, then a single main?

good seeing the crew there today! chatted with chris, jason, frankie for a bit.. did a few runs with ryan as well. i saw sharky taking pics at the section right after that nasty off camber section. i also managed to crash TWICE on my last run through the rock garden along the wall. first crash wasn't bad, but the second one felt like Jake the Snake did a DDT on me and i just went head/shoulder first into the ground HARD. as my luck or lack there of would turn out, Eric just happened to be taking pictures at the spot and got a sequence of my crash with me ass over end
i've got some huge road rash on my arm/shoulder that is feelin really good right now... time to drink away the pain

Sorry bout the jinx Nam (wink wink) Glad you're gonna be ok!! Of course my camera went dead as soon as I went to shoot Jason but so much fun watching them rip down the course.Had fun riding the xc course before I left....the rain sure helped with the loose sections out there. A few pics with the cell phone sorry they kinda suck!!

too bad you took a whammy nam, well i wish i had atleast seen it go down. thankd for the pic sharky, good seeing everyone today. course felt real good, especially the gnar off camber section. gonna be a good day tomarrow, i hope.
