Well, were on the road riding to the gate at 6:15pm. So when the big drops started coming down it tested our resolve for sure. But Jose and I agreed to ride to the gate at least and by the time we were there it all but stopped. The dirt was nice and tacky but the rocks on the luge were slick. Plus, visibility on the way to the flag was terrible as we were riding in the middle of the fog and mist.
Props to Jose for riding on his 4th day in a row and providing the quote of the evening. I believe he said "Man, I can't see anything!.... This is so freaking awesome!!"
Anyhow fun ride, the Luge was all and all in good shape. My bad to Jose for having a brain fart and not making the hill after the bridge after the Luge. I caused us to have a collison were both of us nearly slid back down the hill. Oops.
