Default Santiago Oaks - Every Saturday Morning!

This Weekly ride is - CANCELLED - Due to Fire Damage....

Our new Weekly ride is Whitting/STT/Luge @ 7:00 am sharp..(I know it's early but some of us half to work).
See you there

Thought I'd post this up if anyone wants to join us -Jose??- on our Saturday pre-work ride of Santiago Oaks.
We meet at the "wall drop" side of the parking lot at Chapman and Jamboree at 7:30 am and then head in!
We have around 8 different routes so it doesn't get to redundant riding there every Saturday, we hit Peters Canyon too, and esssentially we try to get back to the cars by 9:30.
The pace is not too quick so all are invited, its a perfect spot for all you SSer's
Hope to see you there!

what's the protocol regarding "chance of rain"?? that is, is the ride on if we wake up (in OC) to a slight rain?

We should be ok in the am, according to weather.com. the rain si coming in the afternoon....I hope.
We are leaving earlier, 7am instead of 7:30am, on this one because one of the guys coming along has to be home by 9:30am.
Hope to see you there

Perfect!
We pretty much go every Saturday. Today I had a couple guys that had never been in there before so we did the classic 3 B's, to the Rock, checked out the jumps and drops and then down Chutes to finish it off. Great conditions and not too crowded on the trail but when we got back to the parking lot is was a zoo!

Yeah, probably....I rode with 10,000 of them today. Talk about a group ride.

Glad I finally made it out with you guys. Had a good time, unfortunately for you guys, I'll be back. As mentioned, day/time work out great with my schedule, and I'm ashamed to say, Oaks is the closest trail to my house and I don't know it.

Starting the ride with a climb up chutes was interesting. Adrenaline crew are very chill. Clyde dang, riding your cyclo-rig from Corona to Oaks, then tearing up Oaks, you da man. It was a blast watching you decend chutes on those pizza-cutters.

See ya next Saturday.
