Default Aliso / Laguna DH Tour Sat. the 3rd.

This will be my first ride in a month so expect a slow pace. Milf Park @ 9AM. The DH Tour will be: five oaks, stairsteps, t-n-a, and rockit. I can be talked into doing a few others as well. Join now and I'll throw in the uphill tour for free: cholla, willow, stairsteps. I need the exercise so no shuttles.

Default Milf park?

I am going to try and make this ride. I am not sure where Milf Park is. It sounds like a very interesting park. Is it on or by the AWMA road? Thanks, Jeff.

Jeff, here is a Google Earth file of the ride. You will need Google Earth installed to view it. The ride has some of the most technical trails in the area, most people padup before riding it. I have rode with you and it is your type of ride. I ride that area alot but I walk many sections...too much trail for me.

It is not by AWMA, maybe 4-5 miles away. Parking at Milf Park gets you to the good stuff faster.

Yeah, I'll make this ride! I was out there last weekend and rode Five Oaks/Rock-it/Meadows. Someone cleaned up the upper portion of Five Oaks but it was the same old fun trail on the bottom half. I had planned on riding another trail in the area, something that starts with a 'T' but decided the hike up Canyon Acres or Stairsteps was too boring to do by myself.

Sounds good, count me in.

Here's a link to the STR Map page for Canyon Vistas, aka MILF Park, for convenience.

Jeff, it can be done in maybe 2-3 hours. It is hard to put a time on this ride becuase there is alot of stopping to session drops and rolls. Some of the stuff is too good to not do a couple of times.

I hope to ride some of those unmentioned trails in 2 weeks. I heard they weren't letting people park at the dog park anymore, any word?
