Default CORBA BBQ Ride - Sunday February 4th

Forget sitting around watching football on Sunday. Come out and ride an amazing trail and see the recently renovated Mt. Zion Trail. Many of you helped CORBA basically reopen this trail to use by mountain bikes.

CORBA will be sponsoring the BBQ as a way of saying thank you to everyone who helped and to promote future trail maintenance events. Previous work with CORBA is not required for this event. Please come out and have a great day in the mountains.

Don't worry we will be doing a little bit of work out there. One of my contacts with the Angeles National Forest has asked it we could spend 30 or so minutes clearing the view on the summit of Mt. Zion. All the tools will be deposited on the summit for our use. The goal is to open the view on the summit.

PLEASE RSVP SO I HAVE AN IDEA HOW MUCH FOOD TO PURCHASE.

Dean,

I'm buying all the food. I will monitor the different sites to get an idea of how much food to purchase.

Damn Frank, anything to not have to climb. This is a social spin and half hours worth of work on top of Zion to open up the view.

Brian should I bring my pruners?

You can if you want but Chris is planning to drop off tools for us so we don't have to haul them in.

Don't get your chonies all in a bunch Dean. Just throwing another option out there for those that haven't done the top section.

I think "chonies" should be mandatory to use in all posts.

Nope no at all, because by the end of the ride everyone will have done a little bit of trail work. We will be clearing some vegetation on the summit of Mt. Zion to open up the view. not much work but something. Please come out and enjoy a great trail.

Anyone else from STR coming? I will likely purchase the food tomorrow or first thing on Saturday. I am coordinating with the Pack Station to cook the food for us.

Dean has chonies? Why wasn't I told about this? I don't have chonies. Who else has these"chonies". Can I get some of these "chonies"?
