Default Single Speeders to Aliso/Wood Canyon Sunday 8am

I have one more time caved to Joses pressure. I liked the critical mass idea and would like to give it a try.

Who: Any single speeders, regardless of experience and fitness level....to be a fun ride.

What: Singlespeed ride

Why: Because Jose asked me to post this.

When: Sunday January 28th 8am.

Where: Start at church parking lot basicly corner of Aliso Creek and Alica Parkway in Laguna Niguel.

Route: Down Alma Road to Wood Canyon meet back up at Cholla, you can take the singletrack up or the road. Across West Ridge to Top of the World. Over to Meadows then back to Wood Canyon. Those that want to hammer out more miles are free to hit the stuff in the middle of the park.

If you are new to SSing please come out this is meant to be fun and not a hammer fest.

If you don't have a SS borrow one, or just join us with your geared bike.

Can do. I can also fix any geared bikes to be a single speed for the day....duct tape the shifters.

How 'bout.. Let's see if Jose will actually make an effort to make it on time! Does the 10 minute rule stand even if the ride was requested by the man himself?

I vote for the rain to hold off until after March 3rd, as the trails are in perfect condition out in the national forest right now. After that, it's all cool. Any seconds? heeheeh

If it does not rain by then, add a couple of fires and they may declare Reg Flag Warning and close the National Forest. They have already been closing parts of the Santa Monicas during windy days.

Thanks to all that showed up today. There where a ton of people out there hiking and biking, to reach critical mass we are going to need about another 50 SSers.
