It'd be great for someone to show me a new route around that park.

The only entrance I know is the one by the school off PCH.... is there another where you don't have to pay for parking?

I'm thinking about 2pm, but I'm flexible.

Take Newport Coast up to Ridge Park, drive to the end. Or, you could park at Laguna Coast Wilderness and pay the $3. All you have to do from there is climb up Willow, then just a tad bit more, before you're in El Moro. As a bonus (if you don't mind climbing out), you can do Old Emerald.

I'm all over the Newport Coast meeting place at 2pm.
From PCH take Newport Coast (only one way to go) to Ridge Park-turn Right and take it to the end. Park there. It's free. We can hit the fun trails!!

Just kidding folks! No need to call the CHP's, Ranger's or the Sheriff's (again.) I won't be there past dusk-I promise. Everyone knows it's illegal to ride there at night.

Thanks for riding today. I had a blast. It's always fun to meet new people. Funny how we know some of the same people, huh?!

We met at the back parking lot and "started" on Rattlesnake to Mach 1 to I Think I Can to BVD back up Old Emerald(?) to Fenceline down Elevator up Slow and Easy back to the cars. We ended up meeting some other locals on the trail as well. We rode a bit with Chopper and Burd from MTBR. Fun ride at just the right pace. Thanks for the good day.
