Sorry this was so long. It truly was a great ride and I'll be riding Bell again (without WHT this time. That sucked balls)
Nice RRs everyone. Thank you, I really wish I could have been there.

Craig, you are one hardcore SOB... and I don't blame you, I would have been all over the pain shot too. Let me know when you are ready for Bell again, we'll hit it from Trabuco instead of WHT.

Did anyone happen to get a shot of Can't See Bottom from the bottom?

GREAT video Winston!

Our group of riders included young Luke (young DH god-like rider,) Steve T, Drew-Dawg, Keith and myself. Young Luke saw what he was here to do-Can't See Bottom. We were on the ridgeline and it was about 1/8th a mile ahead. He jumped ahead and by the time we got there, he was out of sight. We saw a dust cloud every few seconds, but we couldn't hear anything. After what seemed forever he finally made his way into the clearing at the bottom. He was safe. Now it was our turn.
I'm not sure who lead us down, but I was last. I turned the first right hander to see all the other "older" guys walking their bikes down. I looked ahead to see young Luke shaking his head in disgrace. I was totally ashamed, but yet completely OK with following their lead. Luke let us know he dabbed on the bottom left hand turn.

Other than that, I went over the bars once at the very first switchback in the trees and had a masterful tripod on one of the last straight-a-ways. Again, it was a GREAT day.

thanks again Maxwell.

Yep, Bell can sure throw you into a wild tripod in a matter of seconds.

You know damn well Pain Freak wasn't yawning. He was propositioning me.
Yeah, you wish!

Craig after looking at your picture, I might think again about the plastic surgery.

Kick em while there down. LMAO

I was following Luke a while as we descended before we got to "Can't See Bottom" , and I was very impressed with his ability to ride down at such a fast clip. I was as fast as I dared go and it looked like he wasn't even trying and he just gradually pulled away. That kid is Good!

Man, I've got to go back!

So what was the percentage of riding to walking on this particular version of the PAK?

p.s. can't wait to see how Luke is riding in a few years! maybe he'll graduate to a singlespeed. =)

In the first photo Winston is taking in every bit of nutrition he can; even licking the ziplock baggie! :-)
Second is the top of West Horsetheif. Man that must have really been painful with all the gear and the 41lb bike. Ouch!!!!!
