Don't worry about the wind - last time we did this in the wind it was fine up on the main divide.

I'm a bit worried about having had 3 weeks off and doing this now

In fact I'm getting even more worried about the CC being 6 wks off and having eaten enough food to sink Noah's ark. Looks like I'll have to put in some night rides or something.

As for parking, we usually turn left and park right at the turn (left side). Last time I went through, there was a fence where everyone used to park on the right side...anyone know if it's still there?
