Sorry Dean. no picture here but just to let you know, there was two big crashes. I mean helmet crushing, bike down the side. I wasnt there to witness it but there was proof on the rider. Im sorry I forgot his name thought. Maybe someone can shed a light on it for me. Other then that, it was a fun day. Nice group of people. I really enjoy it.

I'll give it a go, less the pix. Maybe one of the other guys will post them up. I of course didn't take any cause Santa is a jerk and didn't give me the digital camera I wanted (and I've been good too).We had a group of about 11 I believe, the ride up was about the same. I've done it now so many times that it seems like an old friend. I had my Five Spot in the shop getting a new bb, so I was on my old Turner and I can't believe how two bikes from the same manufacturer can feel so different. The trail itself is in excellent shape for the most part, but some of our work has already started to give in. I guess we should of cut back a little more? Another thing to remember is the steepness of the second part going up Zion. I know we cleared this section pretty good and for the most part our work is standing up quite well, what I didn't account for was how hard some of this is to ride. The trail is now clear and a lot of the guys can ride most of it, but these ol legs struggled a lot. Still I rode more then ever before and it was nice not to have really scraped up legs for a change. We took a number of breaks to let everyone catch up and to catch their breath, so it wasn't a very fast paced ride, but it wasn't riduclously slow ride either. The poor guy who went over the side managed to do it twice and also dropped his camera once over too. I told him it just wasn't his day and he agreed with a smile, so it wasn't all that bad. He did have quite a bit of blood on his arms though. We all tried the double tight switchbacks at the bottom and I was able to clean it the second time as did Dell, and some of the other guys gave it 2, 3 or even 4 attempts. This was really quite amusing to watch as there were some very unorthodox riding out of that second switchie. The guy who was in front of me (sorry, don't remember your name, but he's from Adrenalin Bikes) made it look easy. Then we had a nice ride down that last little part till we got to the wall of death ( sorry guys, that's just my name for it) and I got dropped like a bad habit climbing up it. All in all a very fun ride.
