rattlesnake and T&A goodness - 9am: 12-23-2006

How technical is this ride? Due to my poor shape and lack of recent riding I'm sticking to stuff that I know and "easing" my way back into harder stuff. I did Aliso (up Mathis-> down Meadows) yesterday; how does this compare?

This is a higher up on the technical factor then mathis or meadows. There's an option to skip T&A and the whole laguna part of the ride if you take fenceline back to the cars. Rattlesnake is rocky and somewhat techy although some of that stuff can be walked. If you can ride rockit at Aliso rattlesnake shouldn't be a problem. T&A is steeper and a bit more techy than rattlesnake.

I totally forgot I have my mom showing up at the house around noon. I got to help get the food, house, etc ready. Sounds like I will get a few more rides in before I attempt this ride anyway. Maybe at few Rock its, Lnyx, etc.

I may do an earlier ride at Aliso tomorrow morning. Have a good ride.

Thanks to Mike (el borracho) and Matt (von-diggity) for coming out. We were all worked from not really riding last couple weeks but still had tons of fun. Full RR with photos later today or tomorrow. Video to come maybe tomorrow or monday!
