Too bad, I will be in the area 23 - 25. I will not be able to make it during the week.

I've been up Dunn road, never down Art Smith. I have been down many of the other trails in the area including the steep switchback descent from Murray Hill. I have to say that I had a blast riding in the area.

This ride is changed to Thurs the 28th. This ride may turn into the palm canyon epic.
We have figured out how to by pass most all of the sand in the wash. If there is enough we will do the shuttle and finish with Cindys instead of Art smith. Both of these rides are advanced rides with milage of about 28.

Meet at Ont Mills Edwards at 6:30 a.m. To car pool.

Ah, I was just asking PF if he thought you could hold up on this ride and he was saying definately, you would love it!

The Palm Canyon is some of my favorite single track because it is fun single track, mainly downhill for like 9 miles. Its no walk in the park though. Its an all day ride so make sure you let the wife and kids know.

As far as my saturday plans go Tom....I was supposed to go snowboarding with the GF, but I checked weather forecasts and they are predicting snow with lots of wind. I told her the snow is fine, but if its really windy we should not go. They are saying winds of like 35 mph with gusts up to 60!

I am only concerned about the rain that is being expected on wednesday. I don't know if they are calling for a lot or a little, but they get flash floods through there I'm sure.

So far looks like rain throughtout the day from like 9am until 2pm or so is what they are expecting on wednesday with increasing amounts of wind. So I am gonna go cruise around tomorrow and try not to tire myself out too much

The winds are gonna be what makes that ride terrible, unless they are with you,then it willl be more fun, higher speeds.
