Man, I'll be just around the mountain on Sunday. I think that I can make this ride. Just need to make sure that it does not confict with family plans.

It is epic because you are going to spend serveral hours of pain and suffering getting to and from the ride

I'll probably get into a lot of trouble if I do this ride, but let's just say, I might do this.....What time do you figure we'll get back?

The ride: Up Dunn road, up and down Hans to cindy whiteheads trail back to car. About 17 mi.. Dunn rd is a stout climb, hans is a grin from ear to ear, cindys is a technical butt puckerrrrr.

I will post an art smith ride after xmas probably for wed along with a tunnel run to Santa Barbara on sat. 909-921-7924
ride baby ride.
yo TOm isnt cindy whitehead just the trail after you finish hahn buena vista that sort of just goes up and down for a while and then intersects with dunn road and you take dunn road to the car? We should park at ralphs and ride the road over to dunn road and then after cindy whitehead go after the goat trails back to ralphs, that would add in a few more miles and a lot more smiles

unless it needs to stay a shorter ride for people who need to get back for family obligations

I think I can do this, too, depending on the family stuff. I've been wanting to get out there.

Palm Springs is epic.

The climb is rigid worthy, the decend down cindys is said to be muy technical, check reviews on mtbr.

I did a very similar route but ended it by climbing Clara Burgess (I think) up and over Murray Peak. The steep, switchback descent on the other side was fun. Here is the route on Geoladders: Geoladders -- Palm Springs Max Singletrack

We went and rode a century today. My legs are fairly cooked. I don't think I'm going to make it. If I wake up and feel different I'll meet you guys at Ontario Mills lot.

Or was it the thought of all those rocks coming at you at the speed of light? lol.
