It is everyone's first time. Share Bike Club used to do a swap meet years ago. It was something everyone liked, but no one wanted the work envolved in keeping it going. Also a problem once powers to be find out what we are doing they will want a permit and charge us. Double edged sword, enough people to make it worthwhile...and get shut down or too small and not worth the time. I hope it is a sucess, I hope some of the shops and bike sales people showup.

Yes, we risk getting caught when we setup a tent but those are the risks I think it is worth it. Probibly smart not to display prices and we can alway pretend that it is a group ride day.

If caught, we will just tell the Police that Steven Jackson is STR's president and in charge... and that he is out riding the Loop...probibly near Lake Laguna...he's got a thing for ducks.

I know all of the baliffs at the courthouse and a few of the cops there, they wont hassle your little swap meet. If they do, try to find me on the loop and I'll take care of thiings for you guys.

Most of us plan on riding 9:30 to 10am, if the trail can take it...not too much rain. Some may be riding earlier.
