Calling all mountain bikers!

This Wed the 6th at the Ontario Convention Center is a Forest service meeting concerning mountain biking in our so cal local mountains. 6-8 pm.
Power in numbers, please show up for support.
The forest service is asking for input. Bring everyone you know and forward the info where ever you can. You can bet the sierra club will be there. The goal is to provide sustailable mountain biking recreation in the 18 national forests which cover one fifth of the state! They want to develop a mountain bicycle management strategy. This is our opportunity to show our support.

I want to go but I have a show that night. Can't make it. The show must go on and all that blah blah blah.

Be sure to mention how mountain bikers were doing trail maintenance on Mt. Zion trail this weekend, the trail the Sierra Club is supposed to maintain but hasn't. I read that Sierra Club newspaper regularly and don't recall too many trail work dates in there. Give 'em hell for me, Tom!

Meeting was very positive, seems as though the forest service has accepted the fact that m/b is here to stay. The purpose of this meeting was for m/b to let the f/s know what we wanted in trail systems and amenities! wow. Great news.
