saturday me and a couple buddies are going to do Whiting ranch in Orange County. Meeting at Yahoo off Portola at noon for a late ride. its about an hour and a half loop with a good up hill grunt with a nice reward...some really nice downhill single tracks on the way out. total of about 8 miles. if anyone wants to ride e-mail me elitephotooc@aol.com I may also do the same ride sunday morning around 930am.

Brah, don't you ride Whitting or the Luge all the freakin' time? There's plenty of trails up here in the San Gabriels better than that boring loop. Oh wait, you got scared when I posted the big "S", nevermind.

Come ride Chantry Loop with us Sunday, up and over Mt. Zion with a stop to help Brian do trail maintance. Very nice loop, even better now that the brush has been cleared. Up Zion is a hike-a-bike for me. But well worth the Gabrileno downhill into Big Santa Anita Canyon. If you are good we will take you to Sturtvant Falls.

There's a small group of us hitting Whiting around 7:30 am on saturday, hitting Cactus, Sagebrush and Live Oak on the way out OR the Luge at the same start time. I only have time for one or the other, have to work saturday.
Thought I'd save some legs for that Sunday ride maybe.......SS sounds good on that stuff!

Can one of the regulars play guide for us noobs? I know the usual route but I would like to do the exrtra trails that make it a fun ride. <<not talking about Oaks >>. I did a nice long ride with Lance once and that was a kick ass ride. Not too tuff but real fun. Lance are u there?
