Yup, that's the one, 99 pts baby! I've only done it downhill before so this will be a first.

Well, I've gone up to cocktail, just not to blue jay. I didn't think the switchback were bad at all. But then I was on the Truth and not the Nomad so it'll be interesting. The Truth climbs so easily.

Heck yes the truth climbs. Think its just you and me riding truths here.

The switch backs are great fun - last time I was there it had rained the night before and the run down was like a video game Its usually quite a sketchy surface but the rain made it really grippy.
I recall one corner with a small lump on it, the front wheel stayed on the ground whilst the back was briefly in the air - I thought my oversteer days were over when I stopped racing karts! Good times

Not quite, a little bit of a climb with some technical roots and rock crop sections on your way back to cocktail. No big deal really, but don't expect 11 miles of DH. This was a real disappointment for me the first time that I rode this route.

How was the ride?
