Default I'm looking for a thread about how a horse hoof post hole ruined a trail?

I can't seem to find it. If I remember right it was down So. Orange County or San Diego County.

I'm trying to get a report of what the trail looks like now that it's been ridden for the last few montrhs and wondering if the hype about ruts and a hole is overblown?

    4" - 6" hoof print vs. 26" - 29" tires....my guess was it was overblown.

(But I do remember seeing it)

Can't you just consider it a 'technical' feature

Horses never cause trail damage especially after the rains.

Also they do not crap on the trails.

Remember too that they are very, very smart, and never get spooked.

Gabe, I think you need to post some pics, to illustrate your points.

If only they were smart enough that they could be trained to chase Sierra Clubbers off the trails!
