Smile El Moro & Laguna Saturday Oct 7th

Start time at 8 at Ridge Park. Looks like temps will be good all weekend long.

Plan is to do the usual Moro loop but swing over to T&A instead of taking a left on fenceline. Go down T&A, up willow, and then fenceline back to the cars.

T&A, you say? Love to, but I'm having my nails done that day.

Yeah, that's it, nails.

Here's a google earth file from Dean for Ridge Park. Route sometimes varies. But be ready for both climbing (I think I can, willow, etc) and DH (rattlesnake, T&A, etc) action.

You need to have Google Earth installed on your computer to view file. If you don't have Google Earth and download it, don't blame me when you waste hours on end looking for new singletrack.

Yes, from PCH going North turn right onto Newport Coast, up to the Shopping Center, turn right on Ridge Park, go to the end....park.

Yup, that sounds right. Here's a google map link, just take ridge park till it dead ends.

Hard to say. Probably under three hours? Depends on the overall pace of the group, how much we chit chat, take photos, etc. What time is the game at?

Maybe you're thinking of Aliso. We won't be going over there. Just to LCWP and back into Moro.

For those that would like to cut this ride short, they can always branch off before we head over to T&A and take fenceline back to the cars. This would cut the climb to T&A, and the climb up Willow.

Was just wondering if you might like to add Canyon and Stairs to the ride.

Oh, gotcha. I probably won't be doing that much, since I'm doing this death ride the next day. But if a group wants to split and go for that it's not a problem.

See thats the problem with training. You have to pass on some of the fun rides. Gawd, it's getting real difficult to start training. I'm going to do Strawberry, then start training. (I think)
