I guess I tried to get in on this ride too late. I wanted to go but it just didn't work out. Bummer. Things get really busy for my family in the Fall, and doesn't usually let up throughout the school year. So, I will probably get to less rides than I would like. Good thing I'm riding my bike to work.

what a nice day fooo sure!! we had nice shade for a while and the sun was not killing us @ all. (well not much!!!) it was great to finally meet some of you catzz and freaking swet riding w/some of the elder gods once again!! This ride was nice and long!! it had my blood pumping and asking for more! Some say thats a good thing he he. Kick ass, fast single track was well worth all that boring fire road crap!! muuhahhahhahhahaaa!! Well, Thanks again Dean. u hooked it up sweet like once again!!! This ride foo sure is one of my favs from now on. We have to do it again real soon.

Again in October? Sure thing! We can start from the beach next time, so there will be no climbing at the end of the ride. Any weekend but the 28th/29th works for me.

Hey, Jose. I had a feeling that you might be the person posting as "ShinKen".

I'm still replaying the final portion of the Will Rogers descent in my head, but I choose to leave out those two unfortunate encounters we experienced. That was fun!

I'm sure this ride will come back around on a semi-regular basis. I look forward to riding with you and the rest of the STR folks again soon.
