Default winds

winds are forecasted to change and blow all the ash and smoke from the fires into LA and the west valley. If that happens I'll be skipping this ride and will meet up with you all another time.

Dean, is this your ride, or part of the Jenson ride?

looks like the Jenson ride is the same general area, but not the same starting place. The Jenson ride is starting more on the valley side.

Fo is right, looks like they are skipping the climbing. The Jenson e-mail was not specific about the route. We may run into them.

Thanks to everyone that showed up. Good ride no flats/mechs, that I am aware of, and no one got hurt that I know of.

We started with 22 people, a handfull dropped off after the first couple of climbs and turned around. Then about half dropped down Squirrel Cage and up Suli Canyon to meet the rest of us climbing Suli Ridge. After that, we split into a fast group, and a slow group, to finish the ride. Thanks to the local, Jeff, that help with the fast group.

Even FoShizzle made a special guest appearance, he rode in from the Reseda side, down Suli Ridge and met us at the start of the ride. Good to ride with you again Erik.

Nam, sorry you slept in we missed ya and Dirty wish you didn't work so much so you could join us more often. Frank...Glen what happened you guys were no shows. Burner join us again soon. Tris and Robert, thanks for hanging with us and showing us the way back out.

I stopped one time to get the camera out on this ride, maybe others can add what they took.

Thanks again you all....Dean
