well, you all missed a good ride today. Craig and I met up at 7:30am at Canyon Vistas entrance to Aliso. Went up to the top of 5 Oaks, and dropped the seats. Craig went down the trail and I, well, not so much. I'm not sure what happened, must not have been paying attention but veered left a little at the top, looked up and saw my fate, and it was not pretty. I endoed in the concrete V-Ditch, and was thrown into some planting. It sucked. I laughed it off, and proceeded down 5 Oaks with no problems. My shin is killing me now though. I must have cracked it on a pedal, or something. It looks like just a scrape, but man does it hurt.
See what you all missed? |

Nice. Sarah and I saw one up close on coyote too. It scampered behind some branches and the photo I took sucked. |

yeah man, it was crazy seeing all those Deer. One was taking a nap up on a hill "hiding" the water tower on the way up to oaks, and then we saw more just strolling along on the trail.
Rob, Honestly man, I have never seen you go down. I hear it happens from time to time, much like the lockness, or bigfoot. One day I'll catch you. |

Nice job on the crash eh! Glad you werent seriously hurt, I took a bad spill on 5 Oaks where that root used to be on the sharp right hander, my pedal got snagged and i went OTB, that hurt, i still have scars. Pretty neat you guys saw some deer too, it is always rad to see wildlife when riding. |
