I am SSing this time, mainly because I have been on a bunch of long rides the past month that warranted the geared bike...I am ready for a SS ride.

Yes there some tech sections that suspension would be nice. You are a good rider and you will have fun on either bike. How is that for a non-answer.

Angelus Crest Hwy (2) to Chilao CG Rd.

Jose, bring your FS man. Dean loves to torture himself on that rigid thing. It will be more fun through the boulder section and better if you wanna hit Redbox for extra credit. I'm bringing the RFX.

How long do you think it will take to do the ride? I'm looking to be back in the LBC by 11 or 12 at the latest. Any later than that I'll have to grovel, And I'd prefere not to grovel this month.

Never been to Del Cizzle and I'm pressed for time. Would it be worth it to bring my DH bike and join you cats?

its built up, but i'm still working on minor details. I'm running my old rear wheel since i'm waiting for a 10mm hadley axle for my rear wheel. Also it seems that Hope brakes need a fat spacer to align on a Marz z1 light fork. I fab'ed up a 5mm spacer which should take care of the space problem. I just need to get it mocked up. I'm currently running a loaner avid bb7 brake that the path set me up with.

as for ride reports, so much for an easy day... rode santiago and crashed 3 times resulting in a lot of soil samples and skin deposits.
